The aviation industry has been operating through unprecedented times since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. TTATCA recognizes the efforts made by our Air Traffic Controllers and the personal responsibility by all to adhere to required protocols and guidelines. We each continue to play our part in ensuring safe and continuous operations within the 750,000 square miles of airspace that make up Piarco’s flight information region.

Today being International Air Traffic Controllers day, we celebrate all the controllers who continue to work 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. In Trinidad and Tobago, Air Traffic Controllers are a small group of essential workers that play a vital role making sure that air travel is the safest mode of Transportation.

To all our Air Traffic Controllers in Trinidad & Tobago, the Caribbean and globally, thank you for keeping our skies safe. Today is our day to celebrate and be proud of our profession.
